Volunteering

McKenzie Park needs residents to volunteer. We welcome more residents getting involved. Just a little bit of your time can make all the difference. If you are interested in helping please contact Chaparral Management and we would love to help you get started.

The ARC committee, and the board of directors are volunteers who are also residents just like you.

If you volunteer for one duty, it's not a major time commitment, but will make a huge difference by offloading work from the board members as you serve as the point person for a specific project, event, or issue. You will also have a lot of influence and be informed by volunteering. It is a very rewarding experience, and those who volunteer in the HOA enjoy the companionship of their fellow volunteers.

The HOA Board asks for residents to fill out the volunteer intake form if you are able to volunteer, even a small amount.

The more people we have helping out, the easier it will be, and the more we can get accomplished. For example, we would not have been able to switch trash service without residents running the project and bringing a proposal to the board. We have several other projects that need someone to lead in order to accelerate our progress on several fronts. The management company works under the direction of the board - with resident oversight and involvement, things move much more quickly.
